Curated by Jennifer Tyburczy, Irreverent is inspired by the censorship of works of art by artists such as Robert Mapplethorpe, David Wojnarowicz and others. It will explain how sexuality has been, and continues to be, used as a tool to censor LGBTQ cultural artwork. The exhibition will include work excluded due to issues of immigration, religion, race, gender, disability and politics.

Sin In My Heart


SIN IN MY HEART is the next group exhibition to be produced and curated by Two Little Birds. The show deals with themes of sex, death, religion and sin.The venue for these shows will be the new art space at the Northern Quarter’s Kraak Gallery, 11 Stevenson Square, Manchester M1 1DB. It will be a three day art event - 23rd /24th /25th May 2014 , with no actual “launch” as each day will be a new launch – like a private party for artists and art enthusiasts . TIMES (Friday 23rd 6 pm – 10 pm, Saturday 24th 6 pm – 10 pm and Sunday 25th 12 noon – 5 pm ). Due to the graphic nature of the show, this event, unlike our previous shows, will be INVITE ONLY.



Sketchbook Project 2014


Starting this March and taking us all the way through October, ​my book, Ketubah - A Promise will be travelling on The Sketchbook Project Mobile Library making stops across the United States and Canada on our annual, epic adventure to share sketchbooks with communities far and wide.

‘Identity’ – visual art workshops by Jason C Woodson Using the ‘Exquisite corpse’ (digital collage) as a guiding concept, participants will create their personal ‘exquisite corpse’ collage using elements that they choose to represent themselves into a cohesive piece. Fri 24 Jan (5- 7pm) / Sat 25 Jan (2- 4pm) / Sun 26 Jan (2 – 4pm) / Fri 14 Feb (5- 7pm) / Sat 15 Feb (2- 4pm) / Sun 16 Feb (2- 4pm) £5 per session – £30 for the course
